The Hamptons fits in a nice box: South is 45th Avenue, West is Winterburn Road, North is 62 Avenue and most importantly, east is Anthony Henday Drive. The ‘Henday’ is a ring road highway constructed around Edmonton that is usually free from bottleneck traffic often experienced on the Yellowhead or Whitemud. It makes the daily commute to work and the Edmonton International Airport quick and straightforward, free from excessive stop and go traffic. For those who prefer Community Transportation, Bus Route 119 has service for the Hamptons to and from the World Famous West Edmonton Mall. The Hamptons is only about a 10 minute commute from 3 major LRT stations (University Station - 10.65 km away, Grandin Station - 11.82 km, Belvedere Station - 11.86 km). Carpooling to any of these three Stations is always an attractive option for ‘green-minded’ residents.

The two closest shopping centres to find your groceries, caffeine additions and other odds and ends are Callingwood Shopping Center (69th Avenue and 177 Street) and Sav-on, Starbucks, Boston Pizza and Dairy Queen located at 62nd Avenue and 199 Street.
