Centennial Village is located just south of Centennial Park along Palisades Way, Lakeland Dr and Sherwood Dr. This area is nicely secluded from loud commercial entities and has amazing views of both Centennial Park and the large lake located within. The Park itself is the greatest amenity to the Village, as it has a grand amount of space for residents to lose themselves in nature on one of the many walking paths that cut through the green land.

On the opposite side of the park are the Millennium Place Outdoor Fields, Strathcona County Millennium Place and Sherwood Park Sports Physiotherapy. Strathcona County Millennium Place is a massive recreational complex providing a variety of activities to the people of Sherwood Park. This one of a kind facility has a wave pool for adults and children along with lap pools, whirlpools, saunas, a steam room and a water playground. More active residents may feel more at home in one of the two indoor fields, the multi-sport gymnasium, the leisure ice rink or the wellness centre while dropping their children off at one of the indoor playgrounds. There are no schools directly in Centennial Village, but Sherwood Park is compact enough that no community is too far from any other, meaning there are plenty of schools in the surrounding areas. The closest school is Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School, an English & Ukrainian Bilingual secondary school with classes for grades 9-12. Between Lakeland Ridge and Davidson Creek in the Trillium Centre are two other elementary schools that can be attended by children living in Centennial Village.
Holy Spirit Catholic School is an elementary and middle school providing education for children in grades K-8. Along with its academic programming, Holy Spirit offers a comprehensive Career & Technology Studies program. The other school in this area is Lakeland Ridge School, a public elementary and middle school that has classes for grades K-9.
