Real Estate

Beaumont

The City of Beaumont is located within the Edmonton Capital Region of Alberta, and is only a few kilometres south of Edmonton, near the city of Leduc. What was once mostly a French farming community has grown now to a unique and charming town with a French village aesthetic in its architecture and brick pathways. Beaumont, or "beautiful hill" is just that, and an ideal place to put down roots while maintaining a quick commute into the city.

â–¸ Why Liv in Beaumont?

The Beaumont community offers small-town living at its finest, providing residents and homeowners with a laid-back lifestyle, great schools, and plenty of community amenities that help make it a great place to plant some roots and grow into your dream home.

â–¸ Where is Beaumont Located?

Beaumont is one of the fastest-growing communities in all of Canada and part of that is because it sits just 30 minutes from Downtown Edmonton. The heart of Beaumont lies at the intersection of Highway 625 and Highway 814.

â–¸ What are Beaumont’s Boundaries

Beaumont’s borders are defined by Range Road 243 to the west, Township Road 504 (Highway 625) to the south, Range Road 241 to the east, and Township Road 510 to the north.

â–¸ What are Common Home Styles in Beaumont?

Beaumont still has the makeup of a small town, so detached single-family homes are what you’ll find here for the most part. New construction has been on the rise because of the city’s growth, but entry-level ranch, split-level, bungalow, and cottage-style homes are also common all throughout town, and especially close to the city centre.

â–¸ What are Typical Home Prices in Beaumont?

Home prices in Beaumont tend to be a little more reasonable than in nearby Edmonton, and buyers should be able to find a great home in the $400,000 to $600,000 price range. If you’re able to bump up your budget just a little, you’ll find $650,000 to $750,000 will go a long way here in the Beaumont community.

The Beauty Of Beaumont Real Estate

The St. Vital Church, built in 1919, is perhaps the town of Beaumont real estate's most iconic landmark. While the town is technically big enough to qualify for city status, with just over 10,000 residents, the small, rural community spirit is still strong here. The area also offers excellent French/English schools, beautiful family-friendly subdivisions near parks, sports fields and other recreation facilities.

Stop in Le Gateau for a sweet treat, or browse the fun children's clothes at Frogs N' Fairies Boutique. Take in a game of tennis at Gobeil Park, or enjoy a picnic with lake views at Four Season Park. Just a short drive away will take equestrians to the Kel-j-Do Riding School, tack store and boutique, and the 6630 yard. A little farther still and golfers will revel in the 18-hole championship Eagle Rock Golf Course.
