Aspen Trails' main school is Archbishop Jordan High School, a Catholic secondary in the separate system, which provides education for students of Aspen Trails Sherwood Park homes in grades 9-12. There are many programs on offer at Archbishop Jordan High School, including specialty ones that focus on dramatic arts, sports and one with a choral music component.
The official schools for students residing in Aspen Trails are as follows: in the public system children will start with Mills Haven Elementary School, graduate to Clover Bar Junior High School for grades 7-9, then finish at Salisbury Composite High School. Students in the Catholic system will begin with Holy Spirit Catholic School for elementary and middle school.

For such a small neighbourhood there's a lively amount of public transportation near Sherwood Park's Aspen Trails homes. The 430 circles and then cuts through the community via Sherwood Dr, Emerald Dr, Eton Blvd and Aspen Trail, making sure to hit the most active streets for better service. The 431 circles the area in the same way as the 430, but does not enter Aspen Trails, instead continuing around via Clover Bar Rd. The 433a travels along Emerald Drive and then doubles back on the same route.
