There are several schools servicing Jasper Park's students. In the public system there are three schools for children from Kindergarten through to grade 9. In the north of neighbouring Sherwood is Sherwood School, a public elementary with classes for grades K-6 in both standard and Opportunity programs with a Full-Day Kindergarten. In the south in Jasper Park are two more schools; the first is James Gibbons School, a public elementary with traditional classes for grades K-6. From there students will move a couple of blocks south to join the elementary students of Stratford School as they both enter junior high together. It has classes for students in Kindergarten through to grade 9 in the Cogito system. This program is designed for students willing to put in the work needed to achieve academic excellence. École Notre-Dame, a French language elementary, is also located in Jasper Park.
The southwest corner of Jasper Park is where the Meadowlark Health and Shopping Centre is located. This large mall has a Wal-Mart Supercentre, Shoppers Drug Mart and Safeway for shopping and public services including a branch of the Edmonton Public Library, an Edmonton Fire Department station and Service Canada Centre as well as surgical centres, spas, healthcare specialists and dental groups. There are also great bars and restaurants around the two towns like Brewsters Brewing Company & Restaurant, Bon Ton Bakery and Flamingo Restaurant & Lounge. The Meadowlark Health and Shopping Centre also serves as the main traffic artery to both neighbourhoods.
The public transportation hub at the building has stops for the 1, 118 and 310 busses while the southern route of 87 Ave NW has stops for the 2, 100, 106, 112 and 115 busses while the 109 travels along 95 Ave NW in Sherwood.
