It's not hard to see why the official tagline was chosen. Allard was established for people who wanted to get away and spend time in natural areas, and it certainly has an abundance of green space. Around Allard homes for sale are two major lakes, while the Blackmud Creek Ravine runs along the eastern border. All three have scenic hiking and walking paths.
There are two bus lines that run through Allard real estate. The 47 travels south into the community via Cunningham Way before taking Allard Blvd to James Mowatt Trail to head back out. The 347 instead travels through Allard west to east via 30 Ave.
There are two schools slightly north of Allard real estate to service the community, one in the public system and one in the separate system. Johnny Bright Elementary and Junior High School is the public option to residents, and it provides a standard educational program for grades K-8.
The Catholic Monsignor Fee Otterson School is only blocks away in the same community (Rutherford) and is an elementary with classes for K-6. The closest secondary school is north of Anthony Henday Dr, where Lillian Osborne School provides classes for grades 10-12.
