Primarily composed of condominiums, it has a small percentage of single family dwellings that are mostly bungalows. This west end community is primarily a condominium hot bed. Most Callingwood homes for sale were developed in the mid 70s to mid 80s, but there are some newer developments as well. Well known complexes include Lexington Greens with its spacious grunds iron fencing and attached garages, and Suder Greens right across from the YMCA. Callingwood Edmonton real estate also includes townhome complexes like Woodstock and Callingwood Court.

You can walk to the local shopping center for groceries at Safeway and the farmers market on the weekends is a major draw. From this area its approximately a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Edmonton. It's northern border is Whitemud Drive and it is bordered by 178 street to the east and 170 street to the west.
