Gariepy is often referred to as Lessard and is located in the west end, south of 62 avenue. The west boundary is Lessard road, and the east boundary is in line with 170 street and the river. Developed in the 70’s and early 80’s Lessard has a mixture of housing types in a large price range. There are plenty of recreational spaces and parks, fields, trees, a community centre, outdoor skating rink and Centennial elementary school & is located within walking distance of Callingwood shopping centre.
