You can feel it in the air, that wonderful hint of spring floating around Edmonton this week. While I'm sure winter will come screaming back at least once before we can really start to celebrate spring, the weather is set to stay on the plus side of zero for the foreseeable future. So it's excellent timing for the "Farewell to Winter Patio Party" happening around Edmonton this weekend. 

Snuggle up with a blanket, a glass of mulled wine or a café mocha with a friend on one of Edmonton's beautiful patios, March 14-16. Or celebrate at home - sweep off the deck, uncover the barbeque, and soak up some much needed Vitamin D (now available thanks to Daylight Savings Time). If you're one of the lucky ones, off to do some spring skiing this weekend, at least we can be jealous of you while sitting on a patio enjoying a bevvy or two in town.
